Fast Core Temperature Monitoring for Food Safety and HACCP Compliance

The T&D RTR-602 food temperature data logger is designed to measure and record core temperature in food products quickly and reliably. It stores not only the temperature, but also the time of measurement, operator ID, item tested and pass/fail judgment, making it especially useful for HACCP procedures, food production, quality control and inspection workflows.

The RTR-602 series offers a measurement range from -60 to 250°C using a Pt1000 sensor with 0.1°C resolution. Different probe configurations are available depending on the application, including short or long probes, as well as cabled versions for hard-to-reach measurement points or hot environments.

One-Touch Recording for Routine Checks

Measurements can be recorded instantly by pressing the REC button. This simplifies repetitive temperature checks in food processing, kitchens and receiving areas where traceability and speed are critical.

Waterproof and Oil-Resistant Design

The RTR-602 is built for demanding food environments, with an IP68 rating that allows use in wet, oily or washdown areas. It is suitable for use near cooking equipment, tanks, preparation areas and cleaning stations.

Wireless Data Transfer to Base Units

Recorded data can be transmitted wirelessly to compatible base stations such as the RTR500BW. From there, data can be uploaded to T&D WebStorage Service or FTP servers, enabling remote monitoring and centralized record keeping.

Multiple Probe Options for Different Applications

The RTR-602 series includes models with short probes, long probes and cabled probes. Sharp-tip probes are ideal for penetrating food products, while rounded probes are better suited for liquids or applications where a non-invasive tip is preferred.
