Hanna Bread and dough ph tester
- 12 Months Limited Warranty
- 0.0 to 12.00 pH Range
- Accuracy ±0.05 pH
- Battery life ± 800 hours of continuous use
The HI-981038 Bread and dough ph tester is designed to measure the pH during baking processes and ensure it meets the food-hygiene and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations.
The ph tester for bread and dough has a one-button operation and is user-friendly. It features a small and water-resistant housing and automatic pH calibration at one or two levels. All measurements are automatically adjusted for temperature changes using an integrated temperature sensor. The electrode with a conical shape is perfect for penetrating solid and semisolid samples. The open junction stops samples from obstructing the junction.
Probe Features Conical Tip
- The conical tip allows for direct measurement in whey and semisolid samples. Specialized Glass Formulation
- Specialised low temperature (LT) pH glass ensures fast stabilization and accurate results at lower temperatures. Open Junction Reference
- The open junction design consists of a solid gel interface between the dough sample and internal Ag/AgCl reference.
This interface prevents silver from entering the sample and makes it impermeable to clogging, resulting in a fast response and stable reading. Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) Body
- PVDF is a food-grade plastic that is resistant to most chemicals and solvents, including sodium hypochlorite, it is also resistant to fungal growth. It has high abrasion resistance, mechanical strength, and resistance to ultraviolet.

PREPARATION: • Remove the protective cap. Do not be concerned if salt deposits are present. Rinse the probe with water and wipe it dry. • If the glass and/or junction is dry, soak the electrode (4 cm) in a storage solution for at least 30 minutes. Rinse with water and blot dry. • Calibrate the electrode before use. For best results, it is recommended to recalibrate periodically.
