Operating Procedure
1) Ensure the loading lever is up and the indenter hangs freely.
2) Position the device on the specimen and center the bubble level.
3) Press the ON/OFF ZERO key to activate.
4) Rotate the set screw to lower the device until the display reads “300”.
5) Rotate the loading lever to start the measurement; display shows remaining time.
6) After 60 seconds, a sound indicates the measurement is complete. 7) Lift the device by rotating the loading lever up and turning the screw until the display reads “0M”.
