Automatic calibration is executed at one or two points using two buffer sets. All calibration and measurement readings are automatically adjusted for temperature changes. The HI99165 pH meter from Hanna employs the FC242D stainless steel design, featuring an amplified pH electrode with various enhancements that facilitate pH testing for cheese manufacturers. The dual-level LCD shows pH and temperature measurements, as well as signals for reading stability, battery level, and calibration guidelines.
Designed to maximize sensor accuracy, 24 hours a day. During daylight hours, the solar-powered, motor-driven fan draws a constant airflow through the sensor chamber at 500 feet per minute (2,5 m/s). At night, when the effects of radiation are reduced, the fan runs on battery power and the airflow slows to 280 feet per minute (1,4 m/s).
Waterproof - The HI99165 is a waterproof meter rated IP67 for immersion in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes. Automatic Calibration - One or two-point calibration is automatic to two selectable buffer sets. Automatic Temperature Compensation – An integrated temperature sensor allows for automatic temperature compensation of pH measurements. Multi-Level LCD Display - The split-level LCD displays both pH and temperature readings, along with indicators for reading stability, battery percentage, and calibration instructions. On-Screen Tutorial - Clear tutorial messages and directions are available on-screen to quickly and easily guide users through setup and calibration. Battery Error Prevention System - the meter will automatically shut off if there isn’t enough power to obtain an accurate measurement. Battery Life Indicator - The battery percent level is displayed at startup alerting the user to the remaining battery power that is available.

Conic Glass Tip
The conical-shaped tip design allows for penetration into solids, semi-solids, and emulsions for the direct measurement of pH in samples such as cheese.

ENTERING THE CALIBRATION MODE
Press and hold the button until "POWER" and the label change to "STD" and the label. Release the button.
ACCESSING THE CONFIGURATION MODE
Press and hold the button until the label "STD" is replaced by the label "SETUP" and the label. Release the button.
TURNING OFF THE METER
In the measurement mode, press the "POWER" button and the label is displayed. Release the button.
