A chromogenic liquid medium containing antibiotics, growth promoters, and color-changing substances unique to Listeria species is included in every device. Just wait after swabbing the test area. After 24 to 48 hours of incubation, a color shift is regarded as presumptive positive. It is not necessary to purchase costly laboratory equipment or perform extra sample handling.
